How a Tribute Begins

Every tribute begins the same way: with one photograph of a companion who was deeply loved, and a family who wanted to keep them close.

One

Three things

A photograph that is most them — the tilt of the head, the look they saved for you. Their years. One line you'd want a stranger to read about them.

That last one matters more than people expect. It doesn't need to be clever — the true ones are always the best.

Two

We create their portrait

Your photograph becomes an artist's portrait in watercolor and ink, guided by AI and reviewed by hand — faithful to their exact markings, their collar or bow, everything that made them recognizable at a glance.

Three

Their page goes live

Their portrait, their years, and room for the people who knew them to leave a memory or a photograph — every one is read before it appears. The page is free, it stays, and anyone you send the link to can visit.

Four

A tile, if you'd like one

The portrait also becomes an 8″ memorial tile carrying a small code that opens their page. Dogs we groomed at Pawsh receive theirs as our gift, hung on the wall in Boston. Anyone else can order a tile for their own wall, or ask about a place on ours if there is room.

A tile is permanent. A page is tended. Both are made with the care they deserve.

Begin a Tribute

Tell us about them and attach a photograph. We personally read every submission, and you will be notified by email when your dog's tribute page is activated. Turnaround time is currently 5–10 business days.

Veterinary practices, boutiques and groomers: we partner with care teams to offer tributes to the families you serve. Host a wall.
